JOINT INFORMATION NEWSLETTER

Starting in February 2008, the border services of Moldova and Ukraine together with the EU Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine issue a monthly joint newsletter containing information about border procedures, reform of border agencies, and their joint international cooperation.
The idea behind the newsletter is to provide the media, business and the general public with information that is useful to them about matters concerning border crossing, and to draw to their attention to any changes in legislation or procedures which might affect them. This is part of service provision according to European standards towards which the border services of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine are working, in cooperation with the EU, the EU Border Assistance Mission, and individual EU Member States.
The newsletter is to be published on all the websites of the cooperating agencies and will provide e-mail links to which readers are invited to send comments or suggestions for further information. The editors welcome any feedback which can help them to improve the flow of information to the public.
