EUBAM Head joins Odesa Military Administration strategic session on security situation and economic needs
        On 25 June, the Head of EUBAM participated in a strategic briefing organized by the Odesa Military Administration, focusing on the security situation and economic needs in the Odesa region. This high-level meeting brought together international partners to discuss pressing issues and coordinate regional stability and growth efforts.
        During the session, guests received an in-depth overview of the region’s critical energy, healthcare, and education needs. The presentations highlighted the significant challenges Odesa faces and the immediate actions required to address these issues. To mobilize international support, the digital platform Spilnota was showcased. This platform lists the most urgent needs and matches them with potential donors, facilitating the support for civil infrastructure and economic development in the Odesa region.
        Head of EUBAM briefly spoke with the Head of Odesa Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, on the operability of transport corridors, emphasizing the importance of maintaining these corridors for Ukraine’s exports. He also elaborated on the support the Mission is offering through the EU-UA Solidarity Lanes initiative. This initiative aims to ensure the smooth flow of goods between Ukraine and the European Union, thereby bolstering economic resilience amidst ongoing challenges.
        The event underscored the critical role of international cooperation in addressing regional security and economic needs, highlighting the concerted efforts required to support Ukraine.
