      The EU Border Assistance Mission (EUBAM) to Moldova and Ukraine was established, based on a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on 7 October 2005 by the European Commission, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, with IOM as the EU’s implementing partner. The mandate of EUBAM runs through 30 November 2015.


      Main objectives of the assignment/scope of work:

      The Head of Field Office is responsible for planning and overseeing all activities and the day-to-day management of the Field Office under the supervision of the Deputy Head of Mission of EUBAM. S/he is responsible for the conduct of the staff and the quality of assistance provided by the Field Office to the partner services at relevant locations as well as regular reporting on activities, findings and observations through the EUBAM reporting mechanisms.

      S/he coordinates and guides the work of a team of seconded international experts and national personnel.
